Docker
The Docker Compose sandbox brings up ClickHouse, the gateway, the hub, the UI, and a demo app — ideal for evaluation and local development.
Evaluate — no checkout
One compose file pulls the released images and inlines its own config, so a single download runs the whole stack:
curl -fsSLO https://raw.githubusercontent.com/avuruvision/avuru-obs/main/deploy/compose/docker-compose.release.yaml
docker compose -f docker-compose.release.yaml up --wait
Pick a release with AVURUOBS_VERSION=v0.2.0 docker compose …. The demo app
generates traffic, so the service map lights up on its own.
Develop — from source
Building the images locally (the contributor dev loop):
git clone https://github.com/avuruvision/avuru-obs && cd avuru-obs
make dev # up: ClickHouse + gateway + hub + UI + demo app
make dev-clean # down + wipe volumes (re-run schema migration)
Either way:
- UI: http://localhost:3001
- hub API:
http://localhost:8080(the UI proxies/apihere) - OTLP:
localhost:4318(HTTP) ·localhost:4317(gRPC)
note
Docker Compose is a sandbox for evaluation and local development. For anything you rely on, install on Kubernetes.
